Who am I and why is Body Therapy my passion? In 2024, I was educated as a Body Therapist from Totum - School of Body Therapy in Copenhagen, which has been a transformative journey, both personally and professionally, for which I am very grateful. My passion is to help people through body therapy to a greater quality of life and meaning in life. I grew up on a biodynamic farm in North Zealand and am deeply inspired by my mother's many years of work as an alternative therapist. As a child, I learned how to give reflexology and massage. Since then, I have often helped family, friends and colleagues to release tension in the neck, head and back and I have always been interested in alternative paths to healing and health. I was previously educated at the Danish University of Agriculture in Agricultural Science and Biology-Biotechnology and have a PhD in molecular plant nutrition from the University of Copenhagen. In addition, for a number of years, I have worked as a researcher in mapping plant microbiomes in crop plants using DNA technology at the University of Copenhagen, as well as the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. For the past almost 6 years I have had a really good and exciting job at Novo Nordisk and over the past year I have had my body therapy practice in my free time. From June 1, 2025 I have chosen to follow my passion and dedicate myself to working with body therapy 100%, as body therapy and working with clients is what I am passionate about. In March I participated in a very rewarding course in Craniosacral therapy from the Body Therapy Institute, where I learned very effective techniques to release tension in the skull and get the nervous system to calm down completely. I use these techniques as needed in my treatments. In April I started a 1-year postgraduate training in Stress Anxiety and Trauma Therapy in Copenhagen with Marcus Heller from the Body Therapy Institute, so that I can help my clients deal with stress and anxiety in a much more targeted way, as well as release the traumas that are stored in the body's memory. Since I have just started as a full-time therapist in my body therapy clinic at Sønderstrandsvej 60 in Kalundborg, I am pleased that I now have the opportunity to take in many more new clients than before. I can always be contacted for a clarifying conversation on 51 60 44 75 and if you would like to book an appointment, please send me an SMS, I will find an appointment for you as soon as possible.
